A personal-finance app that turns messy bank data into a calm, daily picture of your money — designed and built from zero to the App Store in nine weeks.
The challenge
Two founders had validated the idea with a clickable prototype, but had no app, no backend, and a hard investor demo just ten weeks out. They needed a credible v1 in the App Store — not a slide deck.
What we built
A one-week discovery locked a ruthless v1 scope. We designed a focused onboarding and a single calm dashboard, then built a native SwiftUI app on a serverless backend with secure bank aggregation, automated TestFlight delivery, and crash and analytics monitoring from day one.
The outcome
Tideline shipped to the App Store in nine weeks, landed a 4.9-star average rating, and lifted 30-day retention 32% over the prototype's benchmark — and closed the round.
